Sediment is one of the most significant factors leading to the degradation of surface waters in the Midwest. Since the 1980’s CES has been working with clients to ensure their projects are in compliance with the Clean Water Act. We provide site-specific erosion control services by assisting clients with Federal Environmental Protection Agency’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Regulations and 327 IAC 15-5 (Indiana Rule 5) as administered by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management through the development of Storm Water Pollution Prevent Plans (SWPPPs), retention basin and ditch design, and maintenance plans and inspections. In these capacities, CES has worked with a wide range of clients on various soil management projects including residential soil erosion plans and SWPPPs for large-tract construction projects in areas of transportation, residential development, commercial development, and recreation. We work with clients to understand their needs and seek to provide the most cost-effective and non-invasive solutions available.
